Home is where your heart is.

I was in Australia... for half a year. For some of you half a year may sounds short- for some others miles to long. This feeling is different for everyone. When I arrived it seemed to be the longest time of my life! Unfortunately it passed quick as! I just love it in Australia. There were hard times where I really missed my family, my friends and maybe you who is reading the blog atm. but there where those special people I've met who really changed my life, who always picked me up. I lived some of the greatest experiences you can ever have in your whole life time. and I'm thanking everyone who supported me to make my Australia-dream so amazing! I'm so glad to see all yous who i love in Germany now, but at the same time i feel heartbroken, like I'm leaving a huge part of me, far away but also just over the water and whaterver it is always with me - in my heart. A lots of things happened in Australia, huge smiles and laughs or just awkward things. There were moments who might changed myself with all my opinions and believes, but at the end it's still me;) Australia changed me i became more relaxed, i'm not messed up anymore, i'm also more confident, and probably a bit fatter, but it doesn't matter cause i know now that i'm beautiful at the inside.i'm not perfect- not at all but thats exactly what makes me so amazing! what makes everybody special. i mean it isn't really bad to have a few enemies right? that just means that you have something they wanna have and i know that everybody and siriously it doesn't matter who- everybody has this special thing! everybody can be someone beautiful! and everybody has to accept each others oppinions- also you because you'll have to accept that a part of me will always belong to Australia which doesn't mean that it is not here because it feels kinda awesome to be home as well! But please just know I have to places where I'm home now, because home is where your heart is. and my heart is at two places now and i will always think of each of them in laughs and under tears. for now its an ending but i know it is just a start -the start of something beautiful :')

Farewell

Today we had our farewell dinner. Horrible thing!:( I was kinda really upset:( But it was also Carla's (international carla's) birthday, so I just tried to see it as birthday party;) Anyways, it was a nice farewell with lots of love and laugh ;)

STATE OF ORIGIN 2

State of Origin 2 - and the passion moves on! Wednesday again, the second State of Origin of this year and the second one in my life - but never ever the last! We started not that excited like last time but we ended up having heaps of fun althrough the Queenslander lost the game:(( The passion was still there! The love for the places where your heart is! Were you can be yourself and fight for yourself- but not just for yourself, you can fight for every other single one so that at the end we are one groupe. Everyone for everyone. One huge bunch of people- called the world. <3

I was sooo happy when Patty told me that my Bundaberg family is going to visit us on the weekend!!:) Aww:)) I got to see them another time!:) We had a fantastic rainy day, just hanging around and doing some random stuff:) we also helped ash moving in her new flat with her friend:) its a pretty nice one up in Mooloolaba:)) Hope she'll like it there:) but now... oh well, Micheal gone, Ash gone... I'm alone with my parents- lets party! haha kidding;) So my Bundi-Family-Part, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH to make the effort to come down here to say goodbye, I love you and I'll miss you heaps! xx

When I was at Carlas place on the weekend after an amazing shopping day in the DFO-Brisbane she had to clean her room. I wanted to help her to clean it, but she wanted to do it alone, so I was borred and had the time of my life with her camera:D

Rubberbandballs

Today after school I went to our boating club (from the school) because I thought we would have had boating... well after 15min of waiting for anyone else I figured out that I have a flexi (free period).

So I went back to school to catch the bus to Silja's place, we ended up walking the same way back to Stockies to get money and food^^ (why the hell do I have to walk sooo much here?!) Afterwards we catched the bus and went home, we actually wanted to go outside but we ended up hanging around in the house because the weather was bad anyways:D Maddi was making an awesome rainbow-birthday-cake for her friend and we helped her to decorate it, it actually looked so sick at the end!

Afterwards Slater and me had the awesome idea to steal her Rubberbandball and combine it with anotherone to a huge and a tiny little one:D we gave her the little one first and actually we thought Silli would give us one of her evil faces but nah, she was more like: Oh my goood! It's so cuuute! (it actually existed just with two rubberbands;)) well then we gave her the other one:D it was funny as because the rubberbandballs had this huge size difference:D:D we tried to solve a rubixcube; I can't do it at all, but I recon I look very good in it, so quick and structured hehe^^ well and then everyone was having the time of their life:D

A normal school day ;)

Here are some "normal" school pictures, I felt really weird when I had my camera in school after State Of Origin 1:D Well everybody wanted to take pictures, and ohwell here are some;)

STATE OF ORIGIN 1

State of origin is the rugby war between the QUEENSLANDER- MAROONS and New South Wales. The queenslander wear maroon and the player of new south wales wear blue. So red is the loved and blue the hated colour of this evening. It is the war between two states and i'm not kidding, there where some really bad fights between them in the last few State of origin rugby games. and this is what it means to be a Queenslander:

 

Well we had an amazing night at Rolenders! We were so into the game- oh my god! it was just an awesome atmosphere! everybody loved and supported it. That's mainly the reason why Queensland wonthe 6th time in a row with

Queensland 18 - 10 New South Wales

Tomorrow is wednesday the 23/05/2012. It's State of Origin time! Queensland against New South Wales! but forget about New South Wales, QUEENSLANDERS is going to WIN! :))  so here for every German who has no idea about rugby two awesome vids;) They have the cutest explanations ever, are german and pretty easy!so perfect for yous and me;)

Brisbane 2

Today I've been to Brissie ( Brisbane) with Kadda+ Sillja:)

We arrived pretty early so all the shops were closed and we were a bit worried 'cause people told us that the shops will be closed un sunday?! aww... so we went to the Modern Art Gallery first. It's a huge building which is gray and actually pretty borring, but then there are the architectur- specials who look just good and make it nice. It's weird... anyways- inside it was pretty awesome and we also found some pictures of Greman artists;) hehe As soon as we got hungry we started to search for the Markets. Goeff told us it's close to the bigwheel so we were searching there but we couldn't find it. At the end we smellet something yum and followed it and tataaa the markets;) they had some pretty nice and yummy stuff there hehe:) the we went to see the Brisbane lagune which is kinda a saltwater pool, because Brisbane has no nice beaches:D:D

well... at least i haven't seen them yet:D anyways, after that we went back to Queensstreet and made a shopping trip hehe:) got some pretty good stuff thought;D and ohwell at the end I was close to break my camera because the plastic bag broke and it droped on the floor! Aww shock of my lifetime://

Noosa

This Saturday Silli and me went up to Noosa. It's about one hour drive with the car and two hours by bus;) We got ther with the car in the morning 'cause Pearce had a Rugby game<3 We watched it and they/we won!:)) yeeeyyy!:)) after he game they just dropped us off in the main street- Hell Noosa is somethinfg for ritch people! It's a little expensive village with heaps of tourists! Lucky to be in caloundra:)  anyways.. first we were just having a look in some shops but didn't buy anything(too expensive:P) then we went in an Art Gallery and a fter that in a Photo Gallery- awww those pictures were just awesome!! :))  After lunch we went to the beach for a while. We were laying on stones and listening to music until we had the idea to go for a swim.

The bad thing was that i didn't brought swimmers but finally Silli offered me some stuff to wear:) we were to lazy to walk to a changing room so we just made up our own one between the stones:D:D

it was pretty awesome!:) after we went for a swimm we went to the National Park:) It was awesome! you have a great view and everythings kinda seems to be a jungle again;) last  but not least we had some food. we had crepes. but not with normal fillings, this time it was filled up with chocolate mud-cake, chocolate ice cream, cream and chocolate sauce! and it was soooo yumm! just awesome :))

last but not least we kinda watched a wonderful sunrise! it was a great day(:

Kondalilla Falls

Happy Mothersday to all those mothers all over the world and of course to my aussie mum and my mama!:) For mothersday we went to Monteville.

It's a little village in the Hinterland where you can buy the famous fudge stuff. It's reeeally yum!:)) Well Ash and me we first bought the bad one, cause it ws the first shop we went in, and we were waiting for this for too long^^ Geff got the goodone in the second shop then;) and I have spent more money there as well. At the end I had cookies+cream, choc+vanilla, choc+macadamia, rasberry, banana split and passionfruit:) The worst of the flavours is rasberry! Yuck, it's digusting:/ but the others... you feel like in heaven:D Ash bought one with bubblegum flavour, i catually though it might taste horrible, but it was so yum:)

After that we went to the Kondalilla Falls:) They are just awesome, we had a picnic up there with scary things falling down the trees and huge lizards:D:D

To get to the waterfalls we went for a walk through the rainforest:) was pretty nice:) when we arrived at the waterfalls Hannes and me went for a swim, but the water was freeezing cold:/ I went behind the waterfall and then we jumped from over 10 meters into the deep water under the waterfall:) was soo amazing:))

Cross Country Race

Today in school was this funny cross country race thing. The whole school was running a distance of 3 km. I actually thought it will be really long so i didn't put much effort in it and was running really slow. But at the end It was just a really short distance thought. Well I went 20th, which I think isn't that bad. So imagine I would have tried to run faster or put a bit effort in it, but i won! ... an ice cream;D whatever, it was pretty funny and that counts! :)

Fraser Island

We had a day off at school, so most of us internationals catched up with the Kawana Internationals and went to Fraser Island; It's the larges sand-island in the world!
We drove up to Rainbowbeach where we changed from a travel bus to a 4 wheel-drive bus. From there we took the ferry over to Fraser Island.

Our first aim was lake Mackenzie, a huge lake with crystal-blue water! To get there we drove up the beach for about an hour. It was funny because it was used like an highway- always stay to the left, otherwise the waves will get you;) It actually was more comfi to drive at the beach then to drive through the bad streets with deep holes and ways where the whole bus felt just bad at the bum after wards:D:D When we arrived at lake Mackensie we all went for a swimm. It was just amazing! The sand was white as snow and the water clear like the jungle air around us:)) we took heaps of pictures and enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather:)

After that we went back to the jeep to have a barbie, yum:) Then we got in the jeep again and drove through the jungle until we came up to the central spot. There we got out again and had a nice walk through the jungle:)) We climbed trees and watched colourful birds flying all around us:)

We went back over the beach again and saw a dingo pair:) They look like dogs but I guess they would bite you if you'd try to stoke them;D:D

We stopped for tea at Rainbowbeach. The different sand colours were just amazing! I loved them!:))

On the way back home we were standing in a line and had to wait for ages, but we had to get the other bus... we ended up walking and taking another carferry by food:D was actually hell fun! It was a great day- glad that I did that trip:))

Australia-Zoo

Today I went to the Australia Zoo which is the home of the crocodile-hunter-legend Steve Irwin. (Crocodile Dundee- Papa!;)) We started our tour with the Wildlife Hospital. They have volounteers from all over the world, like Silli. Silli is making a lot of the Koala stuff there. So we visited her Wednesday-volounteer-work-friends:) Was pretty interesting, because they are saving a lot of different animals there, when we came they were just above to operate a Koala. It actually looked like in a real hospital! So cute:) Then we went to the Zoo. We saw pretty much everything. The first really great things was this huge crocodile! It could walk on his feets and was just so soft! I never thought a crocodile would be that soft!:D Silli and me just had to run into it+ hand hug it! :D

We also saw the Australia-Zoo show, which wasa quite interessting! There were many huge and colourful birds, crocodiles and other aussi-animals:) we also went to see a tiger show! they feed them with milk and actually they seemed to be little cats;)

 

Then we took a picture with a snake and I took one with a cute and soft koala:))) Love those anymals! They just feel like your best friends, they would sleep and eat the whole day with you;D:)) And they are all so cute! and the feeling of holding a snake is just amazing!:))

 

At the end of the day we went to the african part, which was new. I just htougth it's not supposed to be ther, cause it's the Australia Zoo. I liked the kangaroos, snakes and koalas better;) Oh and here is a kangoroo with me;)

And by the way, I didn't like them better, I looooove them! but you know what I love as well? You guys;) <3
