A smile in every spoonful!

Today it was the first really sunny day!:) I was so happy and was smiling the whole day!:D I was so happy that i went straight on to the beach after school:D There I was in the water for about 3 hours and it was just amazing and warm!:) Then this evening I found something really lovely on our icebox which I spooned out before:D Why isn't there something so beautiful on our iceboxes in Germany?!  I think that is my new way of life!;)

Under Water - World

Today I met Laura and we went to an under water world. It was fun and the fishes swam all around our heads^^ We also saw a tortoise who was a sports mad:D

After a while we went to the habour and then to the beach. There we were walking to Mooloolaba and had a cold drink at another surfer club:) We had a nice view over the whole ocean:) After our tour we went home to eat some choclate-cake from her birthday which was yesterday (Happy purzeltag/birthday again:D)

Plaza & Surfer Shop

Today 3 other girls and me went to Plaza which is a huge shopping center. I wanted to buy some short shorts and a bikini:) But I didn't buy anything because I didn't found some nice ones which weren't to expensive. Well... next time I maybe wanna buy anything expensive or wnna take more money with me^^ but this time I bought only a present:) After the Plaza, we took the bus and I went out at Dicky Beach. There I had to wait for Paddy. In this time I was in another shop, but now it was a little surfer shop with a lot of surf boards and stuff like this:) I really liked it;)

Nutella !

Today I've managed that I've got a lot of nutella now. I also had before, but it was too less for me! hehehe :D  And then I searched in the web for looking what could I do if there wouldn't be nutella in Australia and I found this one on Amazon!:D Nutella for ever! <3 :))

AUSTRALIA DAY

UAAh!:D Today was Australia Day! Yeeah:D I was at Moffat-Beach and I'm so sorry! I wanted to do a Australia-Day-Video for today but I forgot to film^^ Well... that's me:D But I did some nice photos and I can tell u what we did:) So we were playing a australian sport, but I can't remember the name... originally it comes from Britain thy told me. Then we were swimming in the ocean and they told me taht there are sharks at this beach... first i thought it's a joke, but it wasn't...^^ We also were just hanging around and singing and laughing!:) We climed trees and went about three times for buying some stuff for having a barbie:D Then we made a bomb... BÄNG!:D We also were... don't know anymore:D many many other things:) But it was a really fantastic day!:) Chloe, Karry, Ben,... thank's for my first nice australia day in australia!:D

100% Aussie

Today at school it was just me who was there as an interna-tional student, because all the others haven't got school on wednesday.... I had to sand up infront of all six 10classes... well, but life goes on;D Then this evening we celebrated the burzeltag/ birthday of Geff's daughter who came for going out with us; in "Hog's Breath Cafe" and now i'm a 100% Aussie;D We ate something and then we went back home:)

For all true blue Aussies: Tomorrow is Australia Day! :)

Flood warning

Most of you are thinking:
"Wow! Here in Germany (or whatever) it's so cold and she's there, down under and it's summer time!"
My answer is:
"Yes, yes, yes! It is summertime! I'm in Australia in Queensland which is also called the sunshine state and it's summertime! Especially at the Sunshine Coast. And it's summertime! Ok, that's enough and are you jealous now?! Well... I hope so!:D"

But now I have to tell you something: in moment it's the question if it's really a sunshine coast... it's more like a rainy coast^^  Since the day I was swimming in the ocean for the first time the weather changed. There are flood warnings now, because it's raining the whole days and tomorror won't be better. There will be more and more rain... Today our pool was already flooded and the cause was that the garage was flooded too. So we had to look for getting all this water out of the garage. But we have luck because we' re living up to an hill, so the most water is flowing down... In school the water is coming from every where, from the roofs, from the streets, from the canalisation etc. The Aussies told me that normaly it isn't like this in summertime but I think it's just because of me. I just have to see it like this:

"If the weather would be perfect at the beginning, the time in Australia couln't get better anymore. So the weather will change in the next few day and the sun will coming out for me!" :)

First school day

Today was the first day in my new australian school!:) All are calling me Kat now. Just Geof is calling me "miau miau" ... It's confusing me:D:D Well, what I've done... I had to chose my subjects, which are...

1. English
2. Mathematics
3. History
4. Marine Studies
5. Industrial Technology + Design
6. Drama Extensions

...now. I'm really happy about that!:) The only thing is, that I wanted to do Dance Extensions which was already full, so they putted me into Drama. But I think that's also nice:) So today I've already had Maths, Marine Studies and English and I have to say... it was really ok!:D
I also met my buddy! Her name is Chloe and she's so proud of beeing a buddy! I think she's really crazy, so all is perfect! :D

School unifrom

Today it was time to get my school uniform! We went to school and there I got some shorts and shirts. I also know now, that tomorrow the school starts at 9 o'clock.

First swimm

Today it was a lazy day, but also the time of my first swimm:) Before lunchtime I went into the swimming pool:) It was so refreshing!:) Then after lunch we went to Dicky Beach for having a walk, after I went swimming in the ocean:) There were very big wave and the sky was blue- it was so lovley!:)  But since my swimming tour in the pool my bikini was wet because it didn't dryed and I've just one with me:D In the evening we were having a barbie (=barbecue) at the sister of Geof, it was very delicious:)

Just arrived

Now I'm sitting on my bed, I arrived last night:) The flight took about 23 hours, but all in once I travelled about 30hours^^ A hard tour but now I'm in Australia!:) The weather is about 29°C and very sunny:) ,but maybe there will also be a thounder storm today...  Well, my family is very nice!:) And there are Geof (Geoffrey; my aussi family dad), Mic (Michael; my new brother) ;D and Pat (Patricia; my aussie family mam). she showed me Caloundra's lovely town and beaches today. The town has a big shopping path with lot's of little shops and there are 9 beautiful beaches in the Caloundra-Area. And one which is called Dicky Beach is just around the corner, 5-7 minutes with the bike:) We had a walk at the seaside and after we had lunch in a surferclub.

Today they told me that last night there was a bulgar who wanted to break in the house- where I am here?!:D And I also have some really good news for my Aussie-Caro!: At the first evening I had already a spider in my room (and maybe it's still there)! :D

Beeing yourself ?!

Sometimes it's hard to beeing yourself, so it's good that I've a little break in Australia, where I can be free and checking out myself ;)

Today evening I celebrated the last evening in Germany with my friends!:) They backed me some muffins and we created a new drink- coke with colourful points;D It was so fantastic but also very sad. I'll miss you, too, but I will come back!;)

I'm packing my bag

Yeasterday, I was packing my bag! And I didn't see my couch anymore because there were so many clothes:D Today I had to choose only the things I really want to take with me, so now there is just the half of clothes from yesterday:)  All these things I will put into a big bag. It's so big, that I can hide inside:D But now there is still a lot of space in this bag- very good for bringing things at home^^

10 days to go

From now on I've just 10 days to go and then: "Yeah! Hello Australia":) I'm so happy, in the moment I'm reading the book "Ein Jahr in Australien". It's about a German woman who wanted to live there. About the problems and about the gorgeous way of life! I think I will take it with me:)
...Like lots of other things:D I can take 30kg with me, but I promised that I just will take 20kg with me, for I can bring new items back to Germany:D
